Despite the weather (yes, I know the British obsession!!) some of us are still getting out and doing things in the workshop. We had at least one brave soul roughing out bowls in an unheated space. We also got a pupdate, further adventures in early photographic printing techniques, a look into one persons photographic archive and some travel updates from one lucky person who has actually seen the sun this month!! Read on for more:

Andrew Hall  sent over some photos of the dogs in action along with some gen ai images of the dogs in costume and some screenshots from the tracking software showing some recent walks. Jim was in pupdate heaven!!

Burnsy: WoodturningBurnsy branched out this week into other materials for experimenting with Cyanotype prints. An attempt was made to prepare and print on an artists canvas, the results were interesting and a lesson was learned about leaving the prepared canvas too long before use...tricky stuff this chemistry. The tests also include a spare piece of plywood...and it seems to work on that material also. Some new puzzles were also created including an easter bunny themed one, an example of this was despatched to Andrew Hall....let's see how that progresses!!

Graham Brooks: WoodturningGraham Brooks  is currently out of the workshop as he is breaking in a new knee (something familiar to a few of our number) but he sent across some photos from his archive of previous work. Very nice too!!

Patrick Lindsay: WoodturningPatrick Lindsay  is (as usual) putting us all to shame!! Getting out despite the freezing weather and carrying on in the workshop....without heating!! Patrick is continuing to rough out bowls and finish pieces of work...however Patrick is working in short bursts to prevent frostbite!! Well done that man!!

Phil Irons: WoodturningPhil Irons  returned from his trip to South Africa, this was a visit to family for a significant birthday. The weather was somewhat better than the current situation in the UK and Phil also managed a quick visit to a shop run by a local woodturning group and grabbed an image of an old piece of his turned using the Oval turning device by Vicmarc. Sadly Phil no longer has this device....however if you know of one that is sitting unloved on a shelf somewhere then he'd be happy to hear from you!!

Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.

Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all,  keep on sharing!
