So, a Monday evening with yet more fantastic work on display... You need to read on to find out the full story!

Arun Radysh-Haasis: Woodturning

Arun Radysh Haasis has been out with the chainsaw gathering in some fallen timber and not small bits of timber. One of these monsters managed to buckle some loading ramps rated at 400kg...pushing the limits of even the mighty RU with that one!

Graham Brooks: WoodturningGraham Brooks sent over some images of recent work. Some multi-axis pieces that Graham has completed using the Escoulen chuck and some pieces of fruit in Yew. The apple and pear are also boxes with threaded lids, the threads are hand chased.

Helen Bailey: WoodturningHelen Bailey sent over an image of a carved and coloured hollow form. The piece was inspired by a recent Pat Carroll IRD piece though, of course, Helen has added her own unique touch to the idea...really vivid!

Kevin Purdy: WoodturningKevin Purdy sent in some photos of a money box in the shape of a Dachshund...this one proved to be very popular! I think we can look forward to photos of several more Dachshund money boxes in the coming weeks...no pressure folks!

Len Shield: WoodturningLen Shield continued the animal theme with some lovely little turned birds. The birds feature multi-axis work and one of them has a practical application!

Martin Stacey: WoodturningMartin Stacey has also been out doing some multi-axis work in the shape of a goblet for a club competition. We also got some photos of a pyrography piece and some fretsaw work that Martin has been doing.

Patrick Lindsay: WoodturningPatrick Lindsay has been out and gotten some more Monkey Puzzle and is going to be sending over a series of photographs as he takes the wood from log to finished form...looking forward to seeing this one finished!

As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!

DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!

Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.

Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all,  keep on sharing!
